'She feels guilty about Regina. About hurting Regina. Definitely not about how she thinks about Regina every time he kisses her. Definitely not that. But just to be sure, she kisses him again. Then heads directly to Regina’s office.'

Great recap @ Afterellen !

Do you think they're planning to turn Regina and Emma into platonic true love like Elsa and Anna? With the parallels and all? That way they could explain why they can make magic together and all the other stuff that indicated them to be true love. But it's platonic! What a nightmare idea.

Okay, I’ve seen this theory, and I actually have some thoughts on it. I don’t think it would be awful.

My immediate thought was one where they are platonic TL and then maybe Regina is disappointed because she wants to be IN love, and then Emma’s like… Well, we already have TL, maybe we can try…?

That’s my fangirl version, anyway. BUT, here’s why I wouldn’t hate it:

True that on the one hand, it’s a total cop out to actually having a canon romance between these two women. But put that on the shelf for a moment.

If Swan Queen will never be romantically canon, I would rather them be platonic TL than to see them randomly paired off in “True Love” with a couple of meaningless dudes, even if they end up with said dudes romantically. I would rather have the importance of their relationship, and the deepness of their affection for each other be recognized as something so profound, if not romantic, than to not have it addressed at all.

Platonic or not, Emma and Regina are so important to each other. And I would 100% rather see that acknowledged and respected without romance than to have it ignored or frivilously given away to undeserving men.

Another White Knight post from me.

In the Enchanted Forest the horse is mounted by the White Knight, Emma.

In Storybrooke there is no rider, because she is walking around in this realm.

The Hooded horse in the bottom picture represents….well Hood. The horse on the right represents Emma.

They place so much emphasis on the horses in many shots, especially Regina’s office, it’s hard to ignore. When Regina is talking to Sidney about finding her happy ending, the horse is in the shot the whole time. Nothing is unintentional on this show and it’s obvious that Emma and Regina are destined to be together.

Emma has always been with Regina.

David and Mary Margaret always find each other in the same way that Emma and Regina always saved each other. Is their thing, you know? Their true love thing

Louboutins are redefining the “nude” pump— now available in five shades.  Great initiative!

Thank you Christian Louboutin.

This is so important.

Yes, thank you for making more shoes literally none of us will ever be able to afford.

Fashion trickles down though. When a high-end designer like Christian Louboutin acknowledges that there should be variety in “nude” pumps, it will invariably be copied by cheaper and more accessible brands. This is a huge, positive thing.

She started to talk to him about his interests and her kidnapper began to view her as a person he could trust. Eventually, he declared that he was in love with her. After 10 days of captivity, he allowed Elizabeth to borrow his cell phone to play games on it. Naturally, when he left, she used it to call her mother.

This is actually a smart thing to do. If you are ever kidnapped, you should try to humanize yourself & get close to your captors. Do not challenge them, rather try to show them that you are worthy of their respect. If you speak the same language, try to talk with them and exchange information. Learn about them and let them learn about you. Try to relate to them.  Family could be a safe topic depending on the situation. If they see you as a person, your quality of life as a captive and your probability of survival go way up. This creates the reverse-Stockholm Syndrome on them in which they can express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings towards you. Now you might have the opportunity to escape like the girl above did!
